Requirements
• High school graduate or equivalent professional training
• Prefer related experience with a 5 star hotel environment
• Strong customer service orientation and attention to details
• Good computer and system skills
• Good verbal communication in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Good communication skills
• Strong organization skills
• Able to work on shift
• Standing for long durations
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
• Greeting, welcoming, directing and bidding farewell to guests and visitors to Grand Lisboa Palace in accordance with established service standards
• Retrieving, collecting, tagging and delivering guest luggage ensuring luggage is stacked or stored appropriately and not damaged during transit. This includes transporting luggage in a timely and discreet manner without disrupting guests, hotel operations or ambience
• Maintaining current product knowledge of events and facilities of Grand Lisboa Palace including Gaming, Food & Beverage and Entertainment to ensure guests receive accurate and timely information. The Bellman is also required to maintain an awareness of events, activities, venues and places of interest to which they can refer guests
• To act as an ambassador to meet and greet guests at designated pick up points within Macau and assist with luggage and escort to limousine or shuttle bus
• Assist with cleanliness of baggage room and surrounding areas
• To ensure that the luggage trolleys are kept clean, shiny and in an orderly faction at all times
• To follow our company/departmental grooming standards
• Assist the doorman in opening the door and welcoming guests when needed
• Call taxis and keep the queue orderly
• Open car doors and taxi doors in the hotel driveway
• Ensure customers are correctly directed to their destinations
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head from time to time
