Requirements
• Diploma in business management school
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar capacity
• Proficient in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Good time management skills
• In-depth knowledge of the market and good network connection with key decision makers and influencers in the trade
• Understand, communicate and support corporate policies and guidelines
Responsibilities
• Establishes an effective trace system to ensure all business booked is properly tracked and effectively follow up on event arrangements
• Prepares and issues BEO and Group Resume accurately and in a timely manner
• Inputs and updates event details in Delphi accurately and follow the standard
• Maintains complete and supported records for all event proposals, contracts and quotations
• Capable to make business decisions after seeking input from all stakeholders
• Maintain accurate client profiles of all assigned business accounts and up-to-date mailing list of existing and potential clients
• Conduct regular departmental communications meetings and briefings
• Maintains a detailed knowledge of hotel facilities, features and services
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of the client database
• Maintain good relationship with existing accounts and solicit new business
• Follow up client’s feedbacks and comments after events, solicit potential repeated or new business
• Proactively seek in-depth knowledge of accounts owned to understand its total revenue impact on the hotel for better negotiation opportunities
• Maintain an accurate up-to-date group chart
• Build positive working relationships with all Hotel departments, to ensure the hotel team a full understanding of needs and expectations from clients and events
• Close working relationship and on-going partnering with Banquet Operations Team to execute confirmed events. Create a seamless event experience to clients
