• Bachelor degree or certification in hospitality or related disciplines
• Minimum of 8 years' restaurant operations experience or in similar job role or equivalent and with working experience in 5 - Star hotel
• Proficient in spoken Cantonese, Mandarin and English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Able to multi - task and work in a fast - paced environment
• Diligent attention to detail and safety
- Responsibilities
-
• Assist in the organization, management and administration and all operational aspects for the Outlet assigned
• Maintain the services and reputation of the Hotel and act as a management representative
• Supervise team, provide feedback to team in the daily operation to ensure achieving service quality that exceeds expectations
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service - oriented manner
• Handle guest complaints in restaurants
• Assist in the development of marketing initiatives, menu items, and other items to stimulate growth in sales for each outlet and a variety of latest market developments
• Total receipts and balance against sales, deposit receipts, and lock facility at end of day
• Maximizes the effectiveness of employees by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching, and / or mentoring
• Encourages employees to be creative and innovative, challenging and recognizing them for their contribution to the success of the operation
• Assist to control current budgeted and forecasted revenues, payroll, and product costs and Maximize Food and Beverage profitability
• To keep well - versed and updated with Forbes standards for hotels and restaurants; work together with Training and Development team to analyses reports and plan strategies to achieve the 5 - Star rating for Forbes
• Attends meetings and training sessions as and when required
• Personally drive staff training and development to achieve the standards at every level
• Excellent Cantonese knowledge
• Perform other job related duties as requested
