Requirements
• Minimum secondary education
• University degree in related field is preferable
• Security certificate is preferable
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Minimum of 5 years Supervisory or Management experience of Security Control Room operation
• Hands on experience in security systems operation and administration
• Experience in managing employee databases
• Experience with digital media and storage applications
• Experience in Customer Service.
• Police and/or military experience or prior experience in casino and/or hotel security.
• Good technical knowledge of security systems, including, but not limited to, access control system, electronic key system and CCTV surveillance system
• Good knowledge of TETRA radio system, incident reporting system, fire protection system and lift system

Responsibilities
• To monitor Key Performance objectives and conduct performance appraisals on direct reports
• Manage staff performance, this includes; counseling, staff feedback, reward and recognition processes
• Review system logs and other audit trails on a regular basis
• Assist in investigating unlikely incident
• Assist in systems audit and business continuity planning
• Preparing staff performance reports to the Managers,
• Ensure property and Control Room operations and procedures are adhered to
• Preparing accurate monthly reports to Senior Managers.
• Understand and perform all the functions of the Control Room Supervisor and Control Room Officer roles
• Maintain direction, integrity and control over the site Access Control system
• Ensure direct reports are fully conversant with all responsibilities and have a solid knowledge base
• To ensure the Control Room is fully conversant with Emergency Management procedures
• To ensure all systems and equipment is effective and operational
• Provide assistance, support and information to security operations
• Oversee quality and delivery of training to new Control Room trainees
• Perform additional special projects as required
• Assist and support the Shift Manager in performance of administrative tasks including reports and compilation of statistics
• Demonstrate pro-active leadership and monitor staff integrity in accordance with all established policies and procedures within the department and property
• Implement and ensure compliance to Security Policies and Procedures
• Perform regular security assessments including data aspects of security
• Assess third party applications and services for security as part of ongoing due diligence efforts
