Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Advanced degree or Professional Qualifications would be an advantage
• At least 20 years of proven experience in the construction industry, at least 3 years of which working at senior management level
• With a track record of successfully delivering Hotel / Retail projects
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Experience in relevant projects in Macau would be an advantage
• Extensive knowledge of construction project management principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and software within the construction industry
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong leadership skills in mentoring and motivating the team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at various levels
• Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying project challenges and implementing effective solutions
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Fluent speaking and writing in English and Cantonese
• Off-site and occasional travels may be required
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a portfolio of construction projects, including planning, coordination, and execution of all project phases
• Provide strategic direction and guidance to team members, ensuring projects are aligned with organizational objectives
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
• Oversee project budgets, monitor expenses, and implement effective cost control measures
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and vendors
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with specifications
• Conduct regular project status meetings, communicate updates, and address any project-related issues or challenges
• Implement effective project management methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness
• Identify and manage project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address any project-related obstacles
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards throughout the project lifecycle
