Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Sustainability, Environmental Science, or Business Management)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sustainability management, preferably within the hospitality or integrated resort industry
• Strong understanding of sustainability best practices and relevant regulations
• Strong project management abilities and data analysis skills
• Team player with strong problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) with good communication and writing skills
Responsibilities
• Report to the Director and Assistant Director of the Sustainability Department to carry out tasks in the department
• Oversee stakeholder engagement and communication
• Coordinate ESG reporting and disclosure activities
• Develop and implement sustainability awareness campaigns
• Oversee applications for sustainability awards and ratings
• Manage industry participation in sustainability-focused events from government, sustainability community, and NGOs
• Manage the execution of innovative green campaigns and initiatives
• Manage the data gathering process, analysis, and compilation of the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) report
• Oversee the assessments for sustainability rating systems and award applications, implementing recommended improvements
• Maintain regular data return with government departments to ensure regulatory compliance
• Oversee energy and waste management programs
• Manage audits with departments (e.g., waste audit, energy audit, ISO20121 audit), analyze data, and recommend improvement projects
• Develop and implement waste reduction initiatives
• Manage Scope 3 data collection and Climate Risk assessment project and training
• Track and report on carbon footprint and resource consumption
• Prepare progress reports and presentations for top management
• Coordinate university tours and sustainability-focused forums, engaging with local stakeholders, including residents, NGOs, and government agencies
• Support the Director and Assistant Director in representing the company at industry events and forums, as needed
• Manage project documentation, data collection, and reporting
• Facilitate communication between teams and departments
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and site visits
• Maintain department databases and records
